For Town Selectman Spring 2023
About Michelle.
Michelle and her husband Tim moved to Wrentham in 1998. Raising their three children, they feel blessed to live in a charming New England town with a strong sense of community, and therefore have devoted themselves to giving back through community engagement.

Growing up, Michelle’s children actively participated in town sports and programs and attended Wrentham Public Schools. After graduating college, her oldest son began his service in the U.S. Navy. Her two daughters currently attend Villanova University; one is a senior in communication and the other is a junior studying to be a nurse. As high schoolers, all three children worked as D.A.R.E to Dream Summer Day Camp Counselors, and Michelle’s daughters currently continue their work with the town youth as Wrentham Elementary substitute teachers.
Michelle’s dedication to community involvement spans across her years of living in Wrentham. Because of her professional experience as a human resources executive, she aided in finding the town’s new elementary school superintendent back in 2005. This experience motivated her to join the Wrentham School Committee. As a school board member, she acted as Vice Chair where she served for eight years and was a founding member of Wrentham Elementary School Trust (WEST) in 2007.
Appointed by Wrentham’s select board, Michelle also served on search committees for two elementary school superintendents, a town administrator and a DPW supervisor. In 2008, Michelle founded Wrentham Angels, a volunteer organization. Michelle organized and managed projects meant to aid community members in need. Some examples of Wrentham Angel’s work includes meal preparation, rides to medical appointments, holiday gift donations, and more.
She was the recipient of the Wrentham Volunteer of the Year in 2017. Currently, Michelle is a volunteer for the Wrentham 350th Celebrations and an appointed member of the Wrentham Housing Authority, where she proudly advocates for Wrentham Senior citizens.
She is running for Selectman to ensure Wrentham continues to be a healthy community, where residents hold genuine, mutual respect for each other and their town. Michelle’s leadership demonstrates her willingness to help and support others while fostering vital community engagement. She believes that when residents come together, they can drive real change; for economic growth, continued excellence in education, growth of town resources and promoted programs for all citizens.
